I drove my daughter to school one morning and, unusual for me, I felt like having some coffee. I decided to, once again, test the idea of asking the Universe for something, and see if it would happen. I dropped my daughter off at school and while driving towards the coffee shop, I started celebrating, singing and dancing while thanking the Universe for giving me the cup of coffee, even though, I had not received it yet.
For some reason, I had the knowing feeling that this was possible, but at the same time since I was having so much fun I didn’t care if it actually happened. Then, I said out loud: “Wait…you might not give me a free cup of coffee because it is not good for me, so how about a cup of tea?”
The entire time, I kept dancing and singing, giving thanks to the Universe while driving to the coffee shop. Once there, I ended up ordering a cup of tea and a breakfast sandwich. While waiting in line at the drive-thru, I asked myself: “Is this really possible? Yes, yes, it is possible.” I started dancing and celebrating once again. When I finally got to the window to make the payment, I was told that the person in front of me had paid for my tea and my breakfast
I was not just happy for my free food, but mostly because I knew I had created that situation by asking and truly trusting the Universe.
